    Yea I know. Sometimes it's really hard to see if it's a bootleg or the original one.. But usually the selling price gives it away. And most of the sellers are kind enough to add that tiny little bit of info that it's not the an original figure.

    Thanks, I bookmarked that one too. Prices are indeed a slight bit higher. But prices differ from site to site.
    I have to admit that the 1999.co.jp site is easier to browse through :3
    I'll have to get used to AmiAmi, stuff is like..all over the place.

    Depending on the custom fees I'll see what shipping method I use next time. If the shipping time really isn't that much different than I'll go for SAL next time too. But the customs here are kinda strange.. =/ I get custom fees for the strangest things (like I once bought a set of calligraphy pencils for like 15 dollars and it was sent the cheapest way possible, still I had to pay another 26 dollars fees -_-)

    My figure was a pre-order and it'll be released late-May.. That's gonna be a looooong wait :ohnoes: But they did manage to secure my order..so I guess it's ok ^^

    I can see why AmiAmi is so popular. Almost everything is so cheap.
    Even the figures are usually half the price you pay for on eBay.
    I don't mind a previously owned figure. Most people who buy these pvc figurines take great care of them and some don't ever take it out of the box :3 So yea, those should still be in good condition indeed.

    Well, when I bought the Figure I got a mail saying they were going to check for it's availability and that it could take up to 2 weeks. Oh well Can't do much about that.
    But it's really a bummer that they rarely restock in the bigger items.. I guess I'll have to start checking AmiAmi daily and even place pre-orders to get some stuff (which I don't mind :3)

    I only bought one item this time, just to see how stuff works out as this is my first time buying from that site. The figure I bought was supposedly available..so I guess it shouldn't take that long. I usually go for EMS shipping when I buy something a little bit expensive. But I'll get to pay custom fees for that.. =/

    So..all there 's left to do is wait for the payment request :3

    Do they ever re-stock stuff that's sold out?

    Oh and..do they really like up to 2 weeks just to see if the item I want is available? o.o
    That means it'll take like..3/4 weeks for it to arrive.. *sigh*

    These days I usually log in during the later parts of the day (10 PM - 1 AM) because I get sidetracked by all the other stuff to do: a measure of studying, anime, VNs, games, etc. When you add them all together I guess I just lose track of time. :XD:

    That means that the people I meet tend to be just Dark, Nazaka, Uryunga, kimovis and maybe nawi. Nanashi dropped off from that time period AFAIK, while unown is irregular. Sam probably sticks to newer threads and earlier in the day; I've seen him around in the afternoon (where I'm at, anyway). Can't say I'm surprised if he decides to go elsewhere; you can only spam so much in word games before you want something more social. :goodtea:

    Aside from the above, there's the fact that these days my apartment line has a nasty habit of suddenly disconnecting, leaving me without access for hours at a time. :loseoil:

    That's good to hear! Things are a bit quiet among the old regulars, unless they've moved somewhere else in the forum to party (and I'll be the first to admit that I mostly stick to the word games section). Do drop by the spammer section; we need more hamsters for that creaky wheel which Dark Angel and I have taken joint residence in. :XD:
