don't worry about the original it had many flaws, also it doesn't follow the story of the next games :p

just watch the youtube videos of it :p

and start from mk2 its much much better....

I know that the original have flaws and they improved in it mk.2. Seen some of the youtube video but I rather play the game.

From my point of view the original is Neptune story and Mk.2 is Nepgear story from how they are playable from the beginnig of the game.

From Compa nickname for them "I want to play with Nep-Nep first then Gear-Gear".

On a bonus side those 2 games will last till Neptunia V released stateside. From how the way NISA released the first 2 game during Feb. 2011 and Feb. 2012, Neptunia V will probably come out next year Feb. 2013.:D

so I am just playing mk2... its really fun...

but if its downloadable in future I most probably add to my collection XD.

That to bad you can't find the first one.:(

I got them both on released date knowing they were niche title and be hard to find later. Now their on my shelves decorated like a trophy.:D

Well you will find the first game sooner or later. Like you said story is not connected so order of gameplay doesn't matter.

Definitely getting V on released date, I will be getting the Limited Edition if it available.
