I can understand actually. Not sure how stuff there rolls, but bureaucracy here is a real PITA. It's so annoying that if possible I'd just skip and tell the people who handle it to fuck off. Here a driving licence usually needs to be updated like once every 3 to 5 years though.

lol, tell you what. I drive almost everyday, but truth to be told I don't have a driver's licence yet. I don't drive much myself though; the distance between my house and my uni is pretty short and it takes only about half an hour. I understand your fear though. Especially after I've bumped my car once and my bike multiple times...

Hmm do you drive regularly though? I drive my bike (as in motorcycle) everyday from home to uni (well not really actually... Monday to Friday only), but the traffic is rather peaceful so it's quite safe even if, let's say, I drive while being sleepy.

Hmm, I don't think so. I have many factors to consider. Size limitations aside, you do realise that you can pack pretty much any kind of file into a .rar, yes? And there's also DMCA issues - as the way we currently are, we don't host content but simply host links, as text, to said content. But if we actually do host the files on our server, it'll be another story. There's a lot more to think, including safety reasons since .rar files can contain anything. At any rate, the bottom line is that for now I will have to refuse (and I'm just throwing you the logical reasons lol).

Not really. You spending time on doing an effort doesn't have to mean reducing the amount of efforts others have to do. After all, the things you do are in no way guaranteed to be reducing the amount of burdens others are obliged to do.
Just remember that posting torrents isn't like upload, post, and then forget like how posting DDL threads is. You need to be responsible of the torrent and seed it for a certain time. You can't possibly let something newly uploaded just die like that.
Oh yes, they are the same. Spending effort equals spending time, because doing something needs time. The time spent for spending effort could have been spent for not spending effort. -
