Anonymous asked: On May 31 the last patch of kuroinu kedakaki comes out, the only bad thing is that the English version is based on an episodic release of Liquid in which scenes and endings are cut. Would you be able to think about trying to complete the patch by translating the missing scenes? But for now it would be so kind to translate the story and tab of the characters of Taimanin Zero to know what awaits us this August 31.

I dunno why they didnt translate whole original game or its remastered ERE version and decided to translate chaptered (cut) releases, maybe just to sell them separately for 75$ combined instead as a single game just for 40-60$
And I am a bit pissed at Mangagamer that it takes them so long to translate Maggot Baits and also no Marina 2 & 3. Its just rude to translate 1 game and not rest of the 3 game series. :(

Edit. Speaking of Liquid games - Mugen Renkan ~Chijoku ni Mamireshi Fushiki no Rinbu~ is a hidden gem by this studio, its like a Dark Eroge about adventure of 1 immortal girl traveling through times.
Edit 2. I know that there are gaidens (prequels) of Marina but they are not as good. Marina 1,2,3 feels like 1 big game with wholesome story.

Well like most illusion games- the main gimmick is creating your own mods and scenes. It's almost robbery with how shallow the artificial academy 1 and 2 base games were and how necessary it was to create options to make them worth playing. People over at hongfire created the scenes, the uncensored patches, futa patches, new clothing, new sexual animations, new interactions, new personalities, etcetc and the game also has the built in character creator to make your own characters. Everything i've heard about Koikatu is that unlike AA2- in the base game there is a lot less options. theres really no interaction between NPCs- theres no rape or assault or danger of being murdered by yanderes. No triangle relationships with NTR like AA2 had. So in short- no. there isn't. BUT... people can make it, with mods. Koikatu is pretty vanilla in comparison with AA2 and the style reflects that. It's a new style that Illusion isn't known for.. looks cheery and carefree and happy. You might even need a mod to even create male NPCs.. there wasn't any in the demo.

I've already seen some creators using the koikatu character style that is purposely made easy to rip and edit in their own mods. Like a patreon creator hatsune_c who also actually likes NTR and use to make NTR vids using old illusion style and is now making them in koikatus style(also made his own futa addition to that). So if it's just the style and animation quality you're interested in and not playing the game yourself there's always going to be something out there when it comes to illusion games. Just won't accept their practices of selling you a full priced game and instead giving you an engine and saying "make your own game".. which is basically what they did for AA and koikatu.. Though AA was interesting after I modded the shit out of it until the mods took up about 4x the space of the main game.

TechnoBrake, the creator of Nymphomania Paradox, Rule of Succubus, BibleViolet, among other RPGs will create an Exposure RPG with NTR elements. I really enjoy this creator's games. I'm playing Rule of Sucubus now, and is really fun to play.

If I understood correctly, the new game will be about a wife that enjoys public exposure. The style will be similar to Nymphomania Paradox (which I also enjoy a lot), but with more NTR elements. It seems people ask him to do so, and Patreons, Entiers and Cyeners (is that how you call them?) will vote on which scenarios will be in the game.

Aparently his Patreon is under revision, so I can't check it out. I can't wait for this new game, however it would probably not be realease until September, maybe December. If his Patreon situation gets fixed, I think I will join the Patreon, at least till this game is realeased.

Oh so that is the case.
Yeah, such a good title too, I'd love a re-release of the remastered version with everything, it deserves it.

Well to be fair Marina 1 was a stand alone, but more to the point last year Mangagamer put a poll up asking what games fans would like to see translated, the Marina series was one of the votes. A lot of people voted, but not for Marina.

If I recall correctly Marina series barely got any votes and didn't make the top 10 (20?) list.....

While there is a fan base for Marina like myself, a lot of people don't like NTR and of those many don't like netorase. So despite being a success in Japan, marina wasn't a big success for mangagamer. So I doubt we will see anymore translated by them, however anime-expo is happening now and they plan to make announcements so you never know...but since nobody voted for it, I doubt it.

As well, its not really one big long game. There is a year gap between each game too and each kind of stands on its own ending wise.

Unfortunately Atelier Sakura milked Marina series too much and low prequel sales killed anymore games, confirmed via twitter by Atelier Sakura.

Plus the third game was supposed to be the end of Kenji's fantasy, since it was "a sickness" Marina was trying to fix.

I don't think actual sales data for Marina has been made public so for all we know it has sold well enough; every time MangaGamer has discount sales they probably sell more copies as well

FWIW titles that are most requested/voted upon don't always have an impact

e.g. Fate/stay night [Realta Nua] has been requested for years but still no company acquires it

Have to assume the price for any license is also a factor as well as if they're an existing partner or not

Not trying to turn this into a political topic but public support and the loudest voices doesn't always represent the majority.

e.g. A lot of conservative or heavily religious U.S. states actually have the highest viewership for online porn streaming and searches

Voting aside, I think my point was more that there just isn't a large enough audience for it possibly, again its a subset of NTR and half of the NTR community here hates netorase and thinks Marina doesn't even belong to be talked about in this thread as I recall back when Marina 3 came out.

Regardless I don't believe that the series is unfinished by mangagamer if they don't publish the rest and the ending to marina 3 was reaaaaally bad and was meant to wrap up the series by telling players that enjoying this fantasy is wrong and there must be something wrong with you.

Which I think is stupid, basically any character that likes NTR has their lover leave them or get punished for liking it in all Atelier Sakura games. The last game that came out in may basically finished with a message that you started this so, whatever happens next is your fault. That sounds like a healthy well communicated loving relationship. For a company that makes their bread and butter on NTR themes they really see it as some kind of deviant behavior rather then a sexual fantasy that can strengthen relationships with open communication. I honestly believe if Atelier Sakura made Marina 4, it would end with Marina leaving Kenji as some kind of warning to players that netorase is not normal and you shouldn't enjoy it. Everybody will leave you and your life is horrible because you enjoy this fantasy so please get help.

But please buy our games...

and NO this is not the plot to my game, I'm actually trying to undo all the negative and conflicting messages atelier sakura gave players about netorase, sexuality and marina herself.
