Thanks for sharing, I'm however stuck, I get busted by the cops around 8-12 days into it, any guide on how to avoid them?

I'm also running into errors about alpha movies, and I did install K-lite.

i have the same problem with the alpha movies and i installaled the mega version of k-lite

aha, basically, like i thought, problem in VC-1, since this kind of games has OP/ ED, video data in wmv and Vc-1 codec, go - > ffdshow video decoder -> codecs(in the left tab) and find WMV3/9 + VC-1 - set them libavccodec.

Sadly that didn't solve it for me, exact same problem persists.

To explain the problem in more detail: I can play a majority of the game just fine, it's certain h-actions that trigger the errors.

I had that problem in V1. I think they fixed it in V1.01. I do, however, experience the game ending in Day 12 (the guy's arrest). Can't seem to go around it at the moment.
