I want to be refined, in such a way that, I can be sensitive to others, their feelings, needs, ect. You might have heard me make in my way some reference to that when talking about my social antennas. If you can learn what they are singing, then you'll have an easier time watching anime without subtitles. Might not be the best way to learn Japanese, but that was how I did it.

No problem~ I sing a Japanese song almost everyday. There are more sites, but I those are ones I frequent. I used to upload music to Gendou, but found it boring since the forum isn't as fun as here.

I have summoned Sam, unown, and Genki because I saw you three supporting me with your banners. Pyre, Evac, pichu, and Ralium have commented on this thread a few times. They can be considered 'wild cards' on how this turns out.

If you have read or have not read in the previous pages, then I shall inform you.

nanashi proposes an option to change the background/color of the signatures. He does not mean the sigs themselves, but the area behind the sigs. This shall be offered for a limited time.

Given the nature of the proposal, it might sound simple. However, because it is simple and does not benefit the site much, that is why the admins might not think much about it.

Regardless, I have an idea about how to go about this.

I have discussed 'certain things' with Ignis. If I was to find a way to include nanashi's proposal into those 'certain things', then I must do following.

renano's idea: For a limited time, for a week during the Christmas season, how about A-S surprise its users with an option to change the area behind the sig with something a bit more festive? Consider it a 'gift'... a little reward.

I do not guarantee that this will work, but it gives a better chance than simply asking for it without a real, good reason.

Please inform me about how you feel about this. Would you like to see nanashi's proposal come to light? Should it be done? Is this something that a majority of the users want to see?

Take your time and do not hesitate to be serious.

But even so, sometimes thats necessary for our own good. To distance ourselves that is from things that can lead to disappointments.


Hmm perhaps a bit unsure what you mean by colors then. I usually to do the same thing, not everyday though, so not sure how it may relate exactly. But I've tried my best to percieve to my ability and some self reflection on being grounded, and in relation to 'colorful'. After pondering some of my own with this in mind I wonder. Could it be that I seem to be very indistinct, like my personality is at many places at once ? maybe hard to see into, or know how to communicate to ? like having to many "colors" at the same time that lacks definition as to blur into a bit of a mess perhaps. It's not the easiest sometimes translating the metaphorical into concrete terms I know.
But I can in my mind see a possible connection between too many colors and ground thanks to now stopping and take the time to think of it. And so I continued to ponder some more, 'seeing' a kind of thought regarding "lowering" myself to more definite realms of my self, in order to focus more, simplistically, mastering and defining some neglected parts of my self even perhaps in the process.

And all the rest you mentinoned, thank you very much ! I really cherish it, and try to learn and consider it.

Without paying any heed to what others have said (and I have yet to read their input), and assuming that my previous sentence is true, I was honestly expecting the prize to be similar to the SOTM contest, but maybe with a different icon. At least to me, that is adequate enough of a prize, even if it isn't that "special" or original. I (think I) understand the reason for making the ability to change the background of the signature box a limited thing, but, and this is just a personal opinion, a prize should not be something temporary. It would kinda suck to have to return the trophy one has won back to the organiser, if you get what I mean.

But these are just my two cents.

If someone else throws in two dollars feel free to take up their suggestions instead.

My emotions are in check. I give myself a little bit of happiness... temporary happiness, but happiness nonetheless.

It feels like you answered your own question about what 'colors' I was referring to. Try not to fly around too much and stay in one place. It is one of the reasons why people meditate. It makes you more stable and you can perceive your surroundings better.

You don't need to take everything to heart. My views are such because I learned at a young age. You can still be yourself.

By taking such a straight-forward approach, you don't consider consequences or how to go about making it possible.

By adding 'limited time' you can make sound like 'not too much work' and 'allow the admins to focus on other things more while keeping nanashi's proposal in mind once in awhile'. By adding 'Christmas', you can solidify the reason. Consider it a 'sale's pitch'. You need the right words, timing, and approach to make something happen. I must start passively and work my way up.

This is not a prize.

This is nanashi's proposal for a more 'vibrant' A-S for us, users.

We are already working on 'certain things' relating to those trophies used for SOTM. If they ever come to light, we shall inform everyone.

nanashi's proposal is to allow us to change the background/color behind/around the sig area. Something like this cannot be done as a prize because it is an idea that should be used for all users.

Therefore, I suggest for a limited time during the Christmas season, A-S should 'give back' and offer such an option like changing the background around the sig.

I believe that dear Checkmate has plans to make the forum more customisable for users. While I don't foresee myself taking advantage of any such features *cough*lazy*cough*, perhaps other users would appreciate them.

I support the idea. It will be a nice change of pace. I don't even want/need it to be permanent but only during special occasions like said Christmas season but also New Years, Halloween and similar days.

Well, to be honest: The renders (pics) I take from Google-image browser, where then later with Paint/Word programs edit just, because I've no Photoshop software and the digipain aswell. - Where then, you see - It'd not fair be against the others here (SOTM and like...)...>_>

Although... depending on how complex this might be, if they're just going to be enabled for a short period of time it wouldn't encourage users to put in work into customizing it only to see their work disappear once the period is over.

My first wish which I already have mentioned for Ignis once would be able to invert the colors, or add a darker themed background. But as it is, the forum is quite customizable. So there isn't really a great imminent need, hence I wouldn't be surprised if it take a bit of time by being pushed back among other priorities.

@Rena, strange, maybe it was the day before...I could have sworn you where up since at least way earlier than 6.30. but no matter. Cause I remember myself being slightly surprised or something.

Regarding the whole idea of a background behind the sig, I'm not really "seeing it" Seems perhaps like a lot of work for not much in return maybe.
