best anime 2018?

there have been so many great animes this year. Wondering which one is the best so far? any recommendation?

Violet Evergarden is anime of the year this time. First 3 eps are misleading what the show will be about though- really have to stick with it a bit longer.

Just try : A Place Further than the Universe. You won't be dissapointed.

No superheroes, no super powers, no vanilla / romance, just a bunch of different teen girls who travel to Antarctica.
Produced by Madhouse should be a criteria of quality.

But more than that, the scenario is great. You'll enjoy following the story, you'll laugh your ass out sometimes, I also bet you'll cry too.

All the characters are lively, and you can relate to them pretty easily. And you get caught by the story even without realizing it.

It is also short. Only 13 episodes. I just wish it was longer
