So, I am a bit embarrassed to be talking about this so I will be starting off with the mild stuff.
Actually, they are both kind of weird.

Argh! Gotta throw away the my shame..or wait, am I supposed to embrace it?

Let's just get to the point!

The first problem:

So, I feel less excited watching hentai or playing a visual novels that are de-censored. Having been exposed to censored material throughout most my life, I cannot help but find the de-censored stuff to be a bit alien and somewhat off-putting.

The second problem:

Uh, okay, I love vanilla. You might even call me a vanilla-fanatic! Well, maybe not anymore. I have fallen back into the deep rabbit hole, known as "NTR".
I hate it and I tend to avoid it if possible. Well, again, maybe not anymore. I do not enjoy it, it makes me feel sad but it's the only thing that seems to be getting the little guy up, these days.

What do I do? How can I find excitement in the good old vanilla? How do I get away from the evil NTR claws?! And how do I get over my disliking of de-censoring?

No need to feel ashamed about anything here. This whole forum is full of things that people would probably be uncomfortable talking about in real life but that's the beauty of the internet!

Your first problem I don't think is much of a problem. It just takes getting used to. I had the opposite experience, actually. For most of my life I only saw uncensored porn and when I started getting my feet wet with hentai, I was incredibly put off by the censoring. I just avoided it like the plague and only watched uncensored hentai until one day I saw an h-anime that was so fucking sexy and got me so hard I didn't give a shit that it was censored. And just like that, I stopped caring about it.

I'm primarily a vanilla man myself but I definitely love to change things up a bit. I was horrified by the first NTR h-anime I saw for months. But eventually I stopped being so disturbed by it and even re-watched it around a year later and thought it was erotic as fuck! The most important thing to remember about hentai is they're just characters.

The bottom line is, if the only thing that gets you excited is something you don't enjoy, then I would honestly say take a break from fapping for a while. Go for a week (or as long as you can) without fapping and then try your favorite vanilla hentai and see what it does for you. Usually, a little deprivation is all it takes to get things working again.

It still feels weird talking about this to be honest and I have spent some time thinking about how to reply to this.
I am usually not this open about myself. I think. I am sort of a loner. Well, whatever!

So, I will try to take your advise into consideration. I don't know why but a lot of the NTRs are very pretty? I am referring to the art. Sure, there are some vanilla that is good looking, as well but usually, NTR hentai just looks amazing?...no, not the old fat fart or whatever.
I wonder, is it because of that? I mean, because of the ugly guy that it creates a contrast between pretty and ugly, making the production look more amazing than it actually is?
Or do they just tend to put more work into NTR?...I don't want to type NTR anymore.

Oh and another thing!!! I haven't been watching hentai with audio. (When playing visual novels, I tend to mute all male characters...sorry.)
The thing is, uh, you know...when you are at your limits, you are just about to get it out, you hear the man moan? I mean, I am probably being weird but I don't like that. xD I don't like when it happens right when the camera is showing his face.

Agree with 中出し... Take a short break by avoiding any thing that is related to Hentai or porn in general. A week or two would help. After, revisit some old classic vanilla and you may find it helps ^^ (*personal experiences*)

"Decensor" is still a valid term. Something that's uncensored has never had a censor applied and something that has been decensored has had its censor removed. So, you used the word correctly. :)

There may be a few reasons NTR stands out. Assumption #1 is, due to marketplace demands, kinkier hentai tends to have a higher budget then vanilla. So the overall production quality tends to be better. The presence of that super ugly character may also play a part.

As for muting the male characters, that's entirely your prerogative. I don't see any reason you need to apologize for it. I know what you mean when you're about to finish and they focus on the guy, though. I want to see the girl writhing in ecstasy, not the guy!
