Usually, I go by appearance first when deciding whether to play a route, so it's very likely a no. Even though personality is important, I don't typically play every route, so without the visual appeal factor, it's very possible I'd miss out on playing my favorite character's route.

I usually go by appearance first and personality second when deciding my favorites, and then end up liking completely different characters after finishing the whole game. Though they're still made to look appealing, so I don't think that counts lol. If my faves were made to look straight up ugly, absolutely not
