What's the best otome plot in your opinion?

Taisho x Alice stood out to me the most.
I barely made it to the end of that game.
At 1st I thought it was very poorly written. Each dialogue was boring and painful to get through (for me) but I kept playing to see how it ends. And then by the end of Chapter 3 everything made sense. Even though story took a different turn in Epilogue every line in game (from the very beggining) had more meaning in it than you might think not knowing anything. Now it's one of my favorite games (even though I wish it had a different resolution).

I like the work "Koezaru wa Akai Hana: Tai no Tsuki" (越ええざるは紅い花: 双月):
The heroine is strong and smart, does not easily bow to fate, will use her brain to think when something happens, and also learns martial arts to protect herself. Bear the responsibility of the princess, protect and lead the people, and let them find a happy home.
Her relationship with the male protagonist developed gradually. It was not love at first sight, but experienced all kinds of things and tests, and gradually they fell in love with each other and accepted each other.

+1 to Koezaru wa Akai Hana. every route was very well thought out and all the LIs are very interesting that i played all their good & alt endings. I recommend playing the 18+ rated version though rather than the Steam/Switch ver. But Steam/Switch was pretty spicy too imo, bonus the upgraded character sprites
Also Yoshiwara Higanbana~~ can't recommend this enough. It's the first time i cried while playing an otome game for a certain character. There's always foreshadowing on what "higanbana" meant in the game title on every route. Warning though: as it's an old game and the setting is in Yoshiwara (red light district) some of the bad endings can be uncomfy for someone

For me, Sweet Clown.
As a romance, I thought it was fun but not exceptional. As a novel, absolutely great. Great atmosphere, memorable main and side characters, incredibly creepy but strangely likable villain, !!10/10 ENDING!!
I'm actually glad they didn't make a sequel or fandisc because I love the ending so much.
