What does 集中制御 mean? (Appeared on my JPN air conditioner...which I can start up, but a second later it shuts down....)

In English it would be main control, centralized control, computer controlled...something along those lines. The kanji dictionary says it's a technical computer/IT term. It sounds like some kind of computer/electronic issue from your description and the kanji.
