What cliche from an otome game would you remove?

I would like to see more experiences MCs, I want to see them being sure in what they like and act accordingly.

And as was stated before, mc who can not live without others (like she needs support of others just to exist).

Also mysoginistic LI who started respecting women after getting to know MC. It's just so irritating

The scenes where the MC ends up in some "indecent/immodest" situation and all the LIs overreact for one reason or another. It's degrading both for women (how dare they do something "not becoming of a woman" or w/e) and for men (reinforces the "men are too horny to control themselves" fallacy).

Also agree with the dislike of helpless MCs. Not every otome needs to be about the LIs "saving" the MC in one way or another. I'd like to think this is gradually changing as more otome are being made, just want MCs to have more of a backbone in general.

Or she drops an armful of papers, and of course he's right there to help her gather them up. Or she stumbles and they land in a kiss. There's no way that many coincidences happen in real life,they're just there to move the story along.

I can't stand it when the MC turns out to be "the chosen one," immediately possesses some kind of special ability, and everything comes easily to her just because she's "the chosen one"—and the guys fall in love with her because she's "THE CHOSEN ONE"! This cliche needs to be done away with once and for all. It's much better when the MC gains certain abilities through her perseverance, hard work, willpower, intelligence, and so on.

The heroine forgiving the person (li or a side character) who betrayed/wronged her so easily. It always frustrates me so much because I, as a player, haven't moved on from all the things (that could lead the heroine into ruin) they have done to her. And yet, in the game these wrongdoings are already forgiven and forgotten
