What are some cliche phrases you see all the time in otomes?

A classical one I think is: "I was reminded that he was a man" baby, heroine, my other self, how do you forget something like that that you need to remember it? HAHA
thats so real though T_T i have a male friend and hes a surprisingly decent human being but sometimes he says something so "egregious" i also go like.... yea...... he sure is a man..........

Totally this, along with "You do know that I'm a man, right?" usually in response to the MC getting too close to him physically or not respecting his manhood somehow.

Love a "don't show that face to anyone else", I'm a huge yandere fan after all! Haha
The "you don't see me as a man"/"all men are wolves" always gets a chuckle out of me though! I think I even have some examples here lol

Every time someone's heart "starts beating faster" (doki-doki suru), I wonder if there is no other phrases to describe exitment. At this point it's so overused even non-Japanese know what that means

This + MC being oblivious ("For some reason, my heart can't stop racing...", "I don't know why but my heart hurts seeing him around other women") etc...

Or thinking it's some sort of heart disease/worrying they need to go to the doctor but it's really just a crush loll

Omg the responses here are so hilarious! Hahahaha.

Fr though, all the phrases mentioned either crack me up or make me face palm so hard. XD

Other stuff I can think of are below:

- "Omoshiroi(Interesting).." / sometimes a more ore-sama way would be "Omoshiroi na onna"/(What an interesting woman..) when MC leaves and the LI just looks amused
- "So this is what a man's hand feels like/His hands feel so warm.."
- Classic "Baka(Idiot)!" to someone when they're flustered, or saying baka to themselves in internal monologue. Can go "baka baka baka" if they want to be extra.

There should be a lot more, but for now I'm drawing a blank. HAHA. Other than that, I think a lot of MCs say LI's name without saying anything else. Like, let's say, for example, there's an LI named Tanaka(random surname). When Tanaka does something for MC, she says, "Tanaka-kun...", when she thinks of Tanaka, she's all, "Tanaka-kun...", when she sees Tanaka but decides not to talk to him she goes, "Tanaka-kun..." XDD

Oh no he pulled me while he sleeping what should I do doki doki and then bro hug her tightly and start whispering asmr on her ear like I love you MC etc like son I can't count how many times I see this is cringe🥀

Who am I to say this I did the same thing I was dreaming about being punched and pulled my sister arm and punched her i didn't know until she told me

Probably when the story is that the girl thinks that they're kind of already communicating well, they found a shared language.
And then he makes it clear that she was overjoyed early. I didn't really notice it before, but it's common in anime
