Visual Novel Reader Duplicate Text Issue for Evenicle 2.

Hello, I'm currently trying to run Visual Novel Reader, a text hooker which I had been able to troubleshoot for the game, Evenicle 2. Distinctively, I have ran into problems where the text has been repeating itself. Seen in the screenshot here,

This are my current text settings, and fiddling with it for some time with old suggested fixes for other troubleshooting games have yielded no results.
