This is a big ask, but probaby easy work if the right person could read this. I know you guys are some of the smartest people on the net.
Problem:
Nhentai has scrubbed some 12-13k galleries.
The good news? The galleries are theoretically recoverable (at least for now).
There is a wonderful tool call nhenta_archivist, that will automatically download, and pack into cbz files, all of the galleries on nhentai, based on tag filters that you input. I have used it and it works great. This tool starts by scanning nhentai and populating an sqlite db file with a list of all every manga galleries, with all the metadata. Once it has the table, it can start downloading.
It does not have access to the scrubbed galleries.... BUT there is a json file that has a list of all the scrubbed galleries here. It does not have all of the required metadata unfortunately.
There is a handy webiste here, that will spit out all of the required metadata in json format, after you just enter the nhentai gallery ID, including for scrubbed galleries. With a restored db file, nhentai_archivist will be able to download and save all of the srubbed galleries.
This could benefit all of us, but would glady throw a tip to our hero, should he step forward.
