Hi! In the menus (Discussions, Girlcelly, Eroge, Animations) where you can see new posts' thumbnails, the thumbnails are loading very slowly for me. Sometimes not at all.
Is it just me?
I've tried it on several different networks like 5G mobile network, LAN, WIFI. Same story.

Has this been a consistent experience for you, or does it happen only today?

It differs. For example now, it's loading snappy for some reason. But sometimes it's very slow and struggles to load even 1 or 2 thumbnails.
Also, it reloads the thumbnails every time i refresh, so it's not like it's cached in and it doesn't have to load it again.
Check it out during the day. Switch through the tabs back and forth.
I like to skimm through new content like this because everything's in one place and it bumms me out when the thumbnails struggle to load.
I'll do a video with performance inspection in view to let you see what i mean the next time i experience it.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could record a video.

However, I want to explain a few things. Our system generates thumbnails using our own dedicated image servers that dynamically fetch images from the uploaders' links. These images are then downscaled into various sizes and converted into formats like AVIF or WebP, all on the fly, tailored to the user's device, capabilities, and resolution. This process uses significant CPU resources.

Once created, these images are cached in our hot cache for at least seven days. If another user with similar device capabilities requests a thumbnail, the server will retrieve it from the cache rather than regenerating it, resulting in much faster load times.

This entire process is fully automated. It’s important to note that all thumbnails and previews on the home page, including in the tabs should be extensively cached, with all versions available, since they receive the highest traffic.

What you've described may suggest a bug; however, I check it several times daily and have not encountered this issue at all.

I think it's probably network related. I pinged the site and the connection is extremely choppy.
I have an ipv6 IP address. Maybe that's the problem?
It's probably on my end, could you please help me figure out what's wrong?
Everything else seem to be working fine.

I'm not sure what might have been wrong but it's working fine now.
Maybe my ISP acting up since both the home and mobile providers are the same.
Thank you for looking into it for me.
Btw first link loads fine, second is 404 not found.

Let's lay this case to rest for the time being.

My primary concern was the possibility of our image server being overloaded or encountering bugs in the caching logic—something I might have overlooked—that could potentially lead to a processor usage leak.
