I heard that Checkmate-san is currently exerting his full attention on building the new site. If yes, a have a little suggestion.
Would you place the search bar into somewhere more visible? Preferably somewhere very obvious, where someone with a pair of working eyes can't possibly miss it.
The sheer amount of newcomers that is unaware of the existence of a search bar is mind-boggling. This leads to unnecessary increase of clutter (especially at the Games Request thread).
