The winter is approaching and it's getting cold outside (along 0° Celsius) in my hometown. Since I'm a sporty person who's biking around 100-200 km per week alongside weight training in gym and it's so cold outside, I thought about biking on the exercise bike in my gym.
The thing is, there's no TV and it's boring listening to the same music each few days.
So I thought about buying a tablet to watch animes - one of my workmates lent me his five year old tablet and I tried watching anime in 720p with subs. It didn't really work that well and was lagging as hell.
My question now:
Does anyone know which specs I approximately need to watch animes with subs (I'm using MX Player) in at least 720p without lags?
If you have any experience, you could also tell me which tablet you're using, maybe it's available in my region.
Most of the tablets I was looking at (in the price range I thought about) are using a Rockchip RK3288, a Mediatek 8783 or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 cpu - I'm knowledgeable in PC specs, but unfortunately not in Smartphone/Tablet specs.
Otherwise they only need to have bluetooth, WLAN, a socket for ear phones and a display with a resolution of at least 1920x1080. I would use the tablet for surfing on the web, reading manga (on mangafox, for example), watching animes and other movies (without subtitles).
I would be very grateful if you could help me, since I thought about buying one in the upcoming christmas sales :)
