Do you mean vikingfile or shionlib? With shionlib, it is based around user uploads, same as here, with the site itself being open source. The angel bullet iso was uploaded by a trusted shionlib user, an admin with over 6000 uploads and no complaints. There's always a risk with community uploads, but this one seems safe, from my and other users experience. If you mean vikingfile, if you know your way around a download page it should be relatively easy to dodge malicious links, especially if you use an ad blocker or userscript. It has advantages like not requiring an account at all, even for larger uploads, as well as faster speeds. The original download is a search away on shionlib if that's safer.

My antivirus protection kicks in when I try to access https://vik1ngfile.site and displays a message that it's a dangerous web address and a link to detect it through databases. And this isn't Microsoft protection.
