[Poem] King and Castle

A King in his Castle is what I am, trying to keep the peace, I'm doing what I can.

I've shown mercy and benevolence even to those with dark intent, though spilled blood a clear message would have been sent.

I am a kind king hiding behind an aggressive word, a hand I have never laid on, but I'm not a coward.

I'll draw my sword if my kingdom is threatened, and hold it high when my soul is beckoned.
