1. The patch includes bug fixes from the patch v.1.01 released on the same day, so no need to install that if you've installed/are going to install the append patch.
2. (Related to the bug fixes part) Some of the save states may not work after installing this patch.

Supposedly the 1.01 patch fixes some mistakes in the voice recording. Having played the append I can't say I noticed anything blatantly wrong, but then again I'm reading rather quickly and can't say I listen to each and every line to the end. If I find a link to the patch I'll edit this post later.

The download is 220MB, i.e. almost the same as the original version's, which means download everything from scratch, so not sure why they call this a "patch"
