Kengo Minamida (Jin Suzuki) witnesses Sawaitani Reina (Mizuki Kayashima) entering a hotel with Makoto Yoshizawa (Hiromasa Taguchi), and his complicated feelings for Reina prevent him from concentrating on club activities. Then, second-year student Maasa Kominato (Yui Oguri) confesses her love to Kengo again... Meanwhile, Reina is on the verge of giving up on continuing her studies due to Sawaitani Natsuko's (Sarina Suzuki) lack of understanding and financial difficulties, and she misses her midterm exams. Reina doesn't listen to the kind advice of Rio Sasaoka (Erika Ikuta).

Rio's life as a teacher is still overworked. Even in her private life, she finally has a talk with Otomo Seiya (Yuta Koseki), with whom she has been estranged, and her stomachache gets worse.

Meanwhile, it is discovered that a monjayaki restaurant that students have been avoiding is in danger of closing after a complaint about bicycle parking from Yuzo Izumi (Fuyuki Moto). Nakaji Katsuhiro (Yanagisawa Shingo) analyzes that one of the causes was the warning he gave to students as part of his instruction. As a measure in case the school is sued, he tells the entire school to refrain from apologizing to establishments, which could be disadvantageous in court. Kengo, a regular at the establishment, is not happy with this decision...
That night, Yoshizawa comes to the snack bar "Natsuko" accompanied by Sasaoka Hideki (Takahashi Katsunori). Yoshizawa's target is, of course, Rena. While frowning at Yoshizawa, Hideki is curious as to whether Rena is an adult and asks Natsuko to confirm, but she evades the question. Then, Hideki finds Rio's business card inside the bar...!
