Not a Bug Issue with default search engine

Yesterday i see someone request i post 4 day ago. I wonder why he can't see it and do some test.

Keyword is Monster Park. I got both in title and post.

Advanced search Results are sorted by last posting date by Default, unlike quick search.

Problem in quick search 1st result still showing request topic base on date like advanced search.

Topic with name [Request] Monster Park 1 and 2

Since quick search show that thread mean it sorting by last posting date like advanced search.

The quick search weighs multiple factors including post relevance, tag cloud, and post age (though that very quickly loses in relevance). While the results don't match your expectactions, it's working as intended.
