Is Visual Novel Reader no longer being updated?

Not really sure where to post this but I loaded up VNR today and noticed it hasn't been updated by its creators since Jan/Feb 2016 - which surprises me because it was nearly monthly updates if not weekly for the longest time.

So to see no updates for nearly 5 months...makes me wonder if its development/support is dead.

Anybody know anything?
