The updates section on the homepage displays posts from wholesome categories to underground ones. Is there a way to avoid mixing posts when we want to separate them?
I tried using what seemed like the appropriate posting feature, but it didn't work as I expected.

Hello,

I'm not sure if I get what you mean, are you talking about the forum home page, or the what's new page?

If possible, both.
I want to make it so that only those interested can notice the updates.
Also, wouldn't it be a bit annoying if you thought there was a big update, but it was just a trivial comment that pushed it to the top? Maybe I'm overthinking it.

Not gonna lie, this may be a decent idea, I'll think about how to implement something like this. However it will require logged in user to follow threads and each others.

This isn't possible unfortunately. It would be very restrictive otherwise.

It would have been nice if we could choose whether to surface the post or not at the time of posting, but if that's not possible, it can't be helped. Thank you for taking it positively.
