Fellow Drama CD fans: Do you listen to the cast talks?

I hardly ever listen to them.
Often, after listening to the drama version, I feel too embarrassed to listen to them.

Just happened today, I listened to a drama cd that was so bland and I didn't like the story, first thought: well let's hear the actor's thoughts....
but there was no free talk track and i feel bad for wasting my time on nothing

I used to listen to them, but not so much as of late.
If I enjoyed the content a bit too much, then I usually do.

i tend to not listen to them because my japanese isn't that great and all my brain power got used up trying to keep up with the main story >.<

When you hear it for the first time, you will feel that the voice actor is in contrast with the character in the work, and the reaction is fresh and scary.

There are voice actors in interviews. The height is different, and the mood is different (low when dubbing, high-pitched when interviewing). It's like a different person. There are also 2 or 3 people chatting together, which is a little noisy and funny.

I mainly want to hear the voice actor's ideas on the work, dubbing characters and behind-the-scenes tidbits.

Nice to meet you. I used to listen to them, but lately I feel satisfied after listening to the voice recordings and rarely listen to them again.

I really like it because the voice actor's perspective is different from that of the audience. I find it fascinating to analyze a character from the actor's point of view. Mainly, I'm not the type of person who dislikes voice actors. I know some people don't like it when the voice actor's presence overshadows the character, but I don't mind that, so from a technical standpoint, I really enjoy it.

I rarely listen to the cast commentary right after the main tracks.
I listen when I'm interested in what the cast thinks about the work, or when the topics sound interesting, but I often skip the free-talk segments.

I don't listen to the BL drama so I find the cast talking is funny and sometime will only listen to that part. But Otome drama I will only look at the text part of the cast talk. It's not just "go behind the curtain", after the drama the cast voice is not the in-work voice, it's their real-life voice which is not attractive to me, and it's usually not informative because they usually don't talk their deep understand of the characters, so just read the text part to save time~

Yes, I do! But only for CD I really love, or for voice actors I'm particularly fond of.

Also, I've noticed that in the cast talks, their speaking voices are often totally different from their character voices. Some of them even roast the story or make funny comments, which is really amusing.

I usually listen to them, especially when I have time or if I'm interested in the title or the cast. I particularly enjoy hearing behind-the-scenes stories from the recording sessions and discussions about how the characters were portrayed.

I often skip the cast talk in otome CD because I prefer to listen to the story. Mostly because I don't have enough time even for listening to the full story, unless I really like it.
