So I was curious about this! For me, I definitely prefer games to be fully voiced, I love being able to hear the characters' tone and get a better sense of their personalities. Good voice acting really brings a game to life, right? I rarely play VNs that aren't voiced unless the story and art style seem really good, and that doesn't happen that often. but even then, I still find them a little harder to get into, and sometimes I end up hesitating to even start them. What about you guys?

I do prefer voice acting (especially if the game isn't in English). The lack of it won't stop me from playing a game, but I did recently lament the absence a little while playing an older BL title. Especially since it was a humorous game, it felt the jokes would have landed so much better...

But I'm also an enthusiast for free/doujin games and I download a lot of stuff on Freem! that aren't voiced. Since they're on the shorter side it's not so difficult to finish them!

Having a fully voiced novel is nice, but why limit yourself? Not that I did any calculations, but there are probably more not voiced novels, than voiced ones, especially if we are talking about western games. I like reading doujin and free novel games too, and while they almost always have zero voices, there are true gems among them. Story is more important to me, than voice acting. If story is bad, no amount of good voices will save it 😂
