Do You Like Similar Characters or a Variety of Types?

Variety! I'm starting to grow bored of the same category of guys which shouldn't surprising given that I've been playing for almost 10 years now

I don't have a preference for a specific type of character as long as it "makes sense" in terms of the story's content.

Actually, I haven't really paid attention to that. I always tend to go after the first characters I can pursue. Maybe I just like a wide range of types, or maybe I actually don't have a type? I'm a bit confused about it. But I do tend to go for characters who are crazy but not dangerous. Okay, I do have a preference, but not too much, haha.

Although I consider myself someone who enjoys a variety of character types, when I really think about it, I tend to prefer characters with black hair. That said, what really matters is how the character is portrayed in the story. I'm particularly drawn to characters who are deeply loyal and have a dual nature—those whose outward appearance doesn't match their inner self. Additionally, even if the plot doesn't fit the description I just gave, I'll still really enjoy a character if they're richly developed, particularly interesting, and if their inner thoughts, words, and actions convey a unique meaning.

I always seem to fall for the same type of character.
They're usually mature, caretaker-like characters with cool-colored hair.
Every now and then, I end up liking someone who doesn't fit that pattern, and it always surprises me.

I'm pretty interested in all kinds of types. But I have to admit, sometimes the sharp-tongued tsundere type attracts me more.

I certainly have a type but I'd say the Lls I like are quite varied, while I have my top favorites most of the time I pretty much like the entire cast in an otome game

I definitely have a soft spot for stoic, reserved characters with a shy/sweet interior, and those are definitely the first to catch my eye in a game, but when actually reading I tend to end up liking all sort of characters.

In otome games, I quickly fall for characters who show me favorable attitudes.

I would say different types, because if not it might get boring after a while and I can get to experience something different every single time

I think I definitely have a type when it comes to love interests, so I often end up being drawn to characters with similar traits. That said, I still like having a good variety in otome games because it makes each route feel different, and there's always a chance that a character who isn't my usual type will end up surprising me.
