Do you like otome routes that end with the MC and LI having children?

I can quite accept this kind of plot, and I actually really want to see the child character appear in the CG. However, the mere mention of it feels a bit monotonous because the interaction pattern with the child character is also part of the character's development, which can make the character more complete.

I actually love those kinds of endings! I really enjoy seeing the MC and LI build a family together, and I like it even more when the game lets us see a bit of their life as parents, even though that doesn't happen very often.
If anyone has recommendations for otome games or FDs that spend a little more time on that kind of family life, I'd love to hear them!

An open ending would be better for me.

I didn't like one such ending in Mistonia.

In PioFiore children were used as glue to keep 2 strangers together yelling what a family they are when they weren't.

And in 9 rip sequel it felt more like an agenda pushing - attempt to raise birth rates.

There was another game - which name I forgot - that dared pushing a LI's child from another woman on MC. As in - if you love him, you will accept him and his child from another woman and raise for them instead! - yeah, no thanks! goodbye pal, go back to that child's mother instead.
Hated this.

I really like to see such outcome. It makes me pretty happy. And especially when the baby is just the combo of parents
I didn't play a lot of games with this ending, but will definitely check out the thread for game names.

Personally, I'm not really a fan of endings like that.
Having a child as the final note feels way too cliché and stereotypical — like happiness has to mean starting a family with kids. It makes it seem like children are just a tool to make the ending feel "complete," which doesn't feel fair to them at all.

Usually, these endings don't go into any detail about the child's growth or anything — it's just glossed over, which doesn't add any real meaning. It just feels hollow.

The whole "pushing for kids" angle in otome games honestly rubs me the wrong way. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

No, not really, to be honest. I have nothing against them getting married, but the whole "ending up with kids" thing just isn't for me.

I agree it was so funny but honestly with ruwo it was the perfect ending considering both his and naya's issues with their background and the cg was cute. Same with the Fey ending continuation 💗 it seemed so random in seirin's route though lol

It depends on the story for me. I like both types of endings depending on how it's written.

I don't mind it. I think children are a natural and beautiful outcome as love deepens. But I also feel that this part should be kept brief, I'm not really interested in the nitty-gritty of raising kids.

It's fine, but I'd prefer more choices for the endings. That said, I don't really mind either way,as long as there's no unpleasant content related to childbirth. And anyway, childbirth mostly happens at the very end of the story, the plot is relatively short, and there usually aren't scenes with the child as a baby, they're already teenagers by then. So I don't really care about that either.

It really depends on the story but I feel like having children can sometimes be a pretty lazy way of showing that the couple is happy. I don't really like it when having kids is treated as the ultimate happy ending. I'd rather just see the couple being happy together, whatever that looks like for them.
