Cracks of Clockup titles, especially Ero Manga H mo Step Up HD

Clockup titles always appear to be rough for me. Some are painfully cumbersome to crack or install, and now I cannot get one game to work at all. Ero manga H mo Step Up. (the HD version) I have successfully installed the game, but cracks from multiple sources; both different uploaders as well as multiple websites, have the same troubles.

First I have to unblock the cracks from Properties, which is fine. But even then the cracked .exe file asks for the license number. In fact the original .exe file shows the exact same pop-up as the crack.
Any clue what could be wrong? The installation etc. all worked fine, also this is the only Clockup game with these particular issues.
I’ve also tried renaming the cracked file to the original .exe’s name, to no avail.
Pretty clueless at this point tbh.

Excuse me if this is a bad place to ask for this, but threads on the game are old and rarely being replied to.

I can provide files if the need arises. Thank you for your help in advance.

I was curious about this, so I looked into it and found that in my environment, I was able to launch the cracked exe file by entering a random serial number (such as 000).

Perhaps it's your Antivirus, or you did not apply the crack properly.

I tried this today, and BANG it worked! I also just put it 000 and “voila”.

Still don’t know the meaning of it but I’ll take it.

I checked all of this multiple times with reinstalling, disabling antivirus and so on. But the putting in 000 actually did the trick!
