I wonder if it's not like making an ISO file out of a real DvD version and making a folder content into an ISO image.
If that's the case, here we got the actual DvD turned ISO and the previous would be the content of a folder on the HDD turned into an ISO (even if it's just a full copy of a DvD content).

that make sense, usually i know that tailon version doesn't require cracks. so they probably made from folder content with crack in it.

As girlcelly stated in red, they prefer it probably due to mds information stored in it. MDS usually store way more information than just standard iso, such as copy protected disks, layers information and so on.

Both versions works for the end user though, so you are free to skip either one.
