Can't guarantee that it'll work for everyone but I got it to work without a VM. tbh this shouldn't be needed nor should a VM for a brand new game but whatever. lol

1. Get ntleas (build 46)
2. Run ntleasWin.exe
3. Almost at bottom change app path to I:\setup.exe or whichever letter your virtual drive is.
4. Under 'Advanced Options' change 'Component Select' from System default to ntleak.dll
5. At bottom click the button with an arrow pointing left to create a desktop shortcut and run that shortcut as administrator (should be by default).
6. You should now be able to start setup and install the game successfully.

to run the actual game do almost the same. App path should be the games exe (Default=C:\Grand Cru\JKおむchu\JKOmuChu.exe). No need to change component select from system default. The shortcut created through ntleas need to be run as administrator (as before, should be by default).
For future reference the button pointing right add ntleas to the context menu for easy access.

Another odd thing I noticed when experimenting to get the setup to run is that this does not work if you extract the iso content to a folder on your drive. This game is just... odd to say the least. Anti-foreigner protection perhaps? :S
AlphaROM may work as well haven't tested that yet nor do I need to at this point.

I Found out that I can use Locale Emulator to install and play the game.
In Locale Emulator, You need to edit the Japanese Locale or the Admin version(Or create one) and check the Fake System UI Language.
To Install, I just opened the files in the ISO and used the Locale Emulator after doing what I said

Sadly, it didn't work for me. I used Locale Emulator with Fake System UI Language, and all other options. Nothing happens.

try ntleas. Just make sure to change 'Component Select' from system default to ntleak.dll. Also use the button with an arrow pointing to the left at the bottom of the program. It'll make a shortcut on your desktop so you can run it as admin. Running ntleas as admin should work, I just don't think about doing that when an issue occur where I'll need it.

Copy the whole game folder, and delete file named JKOmuChu inside it(one that is not an exe).
then overwrite the exe with the one below and run it.
