This game is 11 years old, here's the reference to the original game http://vndb.org/v913 , and i have no idea if there are improvements than Vista and later compatibility.
Also, the original doesn't have any voice, i wonder about this one, and finally i remember also that the original had two packages where i can't remember the details; the bigger one contained two cd instead of one cd and additional characters and routes;
from the images i found here there is no trace about the existence about that routes.
Anyone know more details?

The original Suigetsu works fine for me in Windows 7. This rerelease isn't voiced or anything like that either. So if you've got Suigetsu already and it works for you I wouldn't bother. Plus, as freemen said, it's missing Mizukabe (the extra CD)

It is a pity they didn't do something like Cross Channel reprint edition and ship higher res CGs and stuff. That should basically be 'free' to do from a development perspective unless they've lost the files. Voicing the game is probably out of the question.

EDIT: Actually, in Windows 7 there is one issue- some really slow, choppy fades that weren't present in Windows 98 (I dunno about XP) so I guess that might be a good motivation.
