sorry if i reply so late to this post, i´ve just stumbled upon this game; sleeping beauty had the exact same problem and is due to a missing font. U just have to download sazanami-mincho font and then install it. This took me like 2 hours to resolve because it took to long to find the characters to enter in google translator.
