I cant run the game, always crash when I try to run game exe

Okay, I just did some tests and apparently this game works only with a Win XP system. It's a very old game after all, I am using a Wind8 and the game doesn't even launch. Just loads and stops without any message.
Then I installed it on my XP PC and it just runs fine.
If someone can offer a patch that allows us to play it on recent Windows systems ... it would be pretty kind and helpfull ;)
