Western RPGs, I never understood JRPGs mechanics; what do you mean I have to take turns attacking?! Most western RPGs are less linear than JRPGs [I'm talking about the open world ones, mostly]

Guild Wars 2 is a great not by the book MMO. Choose a fun server and join the World versus World game mode. It's got plenty of end game contend now

Aura Kingdom, not bad for a free 2 play anime mmo, it's crazy easy and the combat is fun, but I haven't gotten that far to say if I'll recommend it or not. Although I do have to say the player character models are very limited so you'll see a bunch of clones walking around or standing around...
