I usually do the good endings, then the bad endings… But if there’s a canon “best” ending, I save that one for last! (I always use guides, because I’m too scared of accidentally getting a bad ending)
I think it depends on the game! There are some games where it’s way too easy to accidentally get a bad ending and that’s usually when I search for a guide so I dont accidentally get my heart broken (i’m looking at you, mystic messenger)
I love tsunderes, but only if they have a satisfying arc. tsunderes that stay mean/standoffish really take away from the romance imo… It’s really sweet to see a tsundere character open up, but really frustrating and boring if they don’t change and keep being unkind to the protagonist.
Some of my old and recent favourites: Leon from Rune Factory 4, Han from House of Petals, and Lorenn from A Love Like Broken Glass. I LOVE the range of handsome to pretty/feminine long haired male leads and I’m so glad we seem to be getting more these days!!!!
I always prefer upfront pricing. I’ve seen so many games where a good playing experience is locked behind a paywall and I always wonder why they give the players the option of a lacklustre experience…
It feels a little manipulative in gacha games especially. There’s always a little pressure for...
It’s really tricky to make a doomed romance feel satisfying but I honestly liiiiive for a bit of angst. It feels good to have a bit of a cry even if it hurts
