    You just gotta extract the .exe from the .rar into the game folder and start the game with that .exe file

    Apparently, the old crack is compatible with the patch as long as you also paste the 'Version.dll' file into the folder. Did you install the game or you are playing directly in the extracted folder? The patch should automatically recognize the installation path.

    did you copy all the crack contents into the installation folder? you should copy both the .exe (replace) and the .dll
