Basics is exactly what i'm going for, eventually i will be taking Japanese as a class so i just wanted to get something of a head start.

I prefer honorifics, it's just a question of style really. Plus anyone who is interested enough in the medium to get a translated VN most likely already knows what -san -chan -kun etc. mean, and if they don't it's a quick google search away, so no loss there.

Oh, now that i think of it, ef was translated of course, as well as Utawaruremono though that one is part VN part strategy game... speaking of i have yet to finish it, gotta get on that one of these days. This is turning into quite the list, there are a lot more than i expected.
