    Personally, I have a hard time inserting myself into the story, so I prefer a protagonist with a more distinct personality. Also, 'no personality' MCs get boring for me pretty quickly.

    Definitely !! it's why I've been procrastinating on playing the Higurashi series for so long.. But when I do pick up a game with lots of titles, I'm rarely disappointed by it. I mean, there wouldn't be so many sequels if the game wasn't any good.
