I never really counted the hours but i think it should not take more than 50% of the game's length, probably around 20 - 30% is the best me think. I don't really like too long common route...

Hmm i think it depends, i think it better to balance between choices and stories I don't mind stories with few choices if the choices can impact the story more, i dislike choices that don't impact much but i also dislike choices that seemingly ordinary but impact the story too much... it's back...

3d can be realistic and if you can get their model, you can make them dance on mmd (or more *cough*), but i think the realism sometimes can ruin it, making it looks more like a template of same face syndrome (see a few 3d ai companion otome from cn and i think most of their face looks the same...
