I just wanted to feel pure emotional genuine loving that doesn't have that back-and-forth thing going on in real life. There have been countless times where I've dodged a bullet and I just wanted to feel a sweet love.
I've only ever played 1 otome game that did that, which was the smile & bloom, and it was nice. It really depends on how the game does it I guess, I feel like I might not really like it as much depending on how some MCs are.
Super annoying, its why I stopped playing the ikemen series. What do you mean it's going to take me 2 months to finish a route? and that's logging in consistently. That is ridiculous! Hoenstly! And some of the games include a gacha system in it now?! Money hungry to the extreme!
I used to read a lot of fanfiction when I was younger, but I stopped when I saw a lot of people deviating on how a character is to how they'd wish a character would act. It's like they have their own fanon instead of the canon way the character is supposed to be. It makes me a bit unsettled in a...
Generally I am okay with a few minor spoilers here n there, not nothing major. Sometimes learning about something gets me into the game than if I were to go in blind.
@icterine @Yuunari Thank you both for the feedback! Oof, knowing how long I take to finish my games this is going to last me a few years to finish haha. But I'll push through, I remember hearing a bit about it and it got me so interested!
Its honestly nothing but Otome characters in my island, Love and Deepspace, BUSTAFELLOWS, Nightshade, Virche, Piofiore. I am living my own otome haven.
Thanks for this heads up, honestly I have been a bit conflicted on playing this game but I'll see if I can get over it. I do enjoy playing a lot of otomes in general, but yeah sadly I am not deep into the "I can fix him" kind of trope, haha.
I just finished playing another R18 otome, and goodness me I feel like they go really degenerate with the tropes here, well I feel like it would be a given but it feels like a lot for some of these games haha.
I don't like LIs with past lovers who are still an issue, or women who are still around them, it is a very huge turn off for me. I lose interest in the guy fast.
Is Pixiv still the best place to find a lot of Japanese artists? It has been a while since I did an actual deep search of fanart for otome games I like, I felt like for a good while it was lacking even for the biggest series I know.
Honestly I have this same mindset haha, but there are times where I do forget tiny details so when I replay a game I have that tiny feeling as if I was playing the game for the first time.
Slice of Life > Historical Fantasy > Detective.
Don't get me wrong, I love solving some murder mystery cases but there are times that I just want to shut my brain off and play a good otome where I do not have to think haha.
I haven't played a single fandisc yet, I have no idea how it would be different from regular otome games, but hopefully I can get my hands on some of these games soon. I hear some of them there's just only one singular ending?
There's a lot of aspects that makes an otome game really immersive for me, the obvious thing is having a plot with amazing hooks that keeps you wanting to play more until the end. But for me, even if its the most basic thing ever, is if events that can happen in this real world. There are some...
I like the best/happy endings the most, I know most people would play bad endings when they've already played the good ones, but that just leaves a sour taste in my mouth for the routes so I like to do the bad endings first because of it.
I was probably 11 or 12? I remember trying to find something online that would just fill in my otome loving void before I could figure out what I was looking for. I don't know how i stumbled upon it but it was a miracle. I would just watch romance scenes of animes on YouTube.
