I'm using IPA 3.3. Be sure to run the wideslider patch exe. Also you need to make sure your "Managed" directory is not set to read-only under each _32_Data/_64_Data directory. If it is set to read-only, then the IPA and wideslider patch cannot write to the files needed.

Make sure windows isn't hiding file extensions. You should only have one Assembly-CSharp.dll, the rest are likely backups from the various patches, and if they say anything after the .dll, they should be safe to delete.

Re: About 4k, but no monitor. Short answer, no. You can't run an application at a higher resolution than your monitor supports unless the game supports some kind of scaling, which it doesn't.

Has anyone made any hair/beard or high resolution texture mods for the male character? If not, is there a reason why? I haven't been able to find anything anywhere.
