  1. LI already in love with Mc Vs Falling in love during the route

I usually prefer LIs who are already in love with the MC from the start! 🥹 Maybe that's why I find the childhood friends trope so cute. But when it's well written, I also love watching them slowly fall for each other and seeing how both of them change throughout the route. ❤️
  2. What do you think of female routes in otome games?

I don't usually find female routes that interesting, to be honest. I agree that they often feel more like an extended friendship route than a proper route. I think I'd be much more interested if she were actually a romantic option, or if she had a genuinely interesting story of her own that...
  3. What's an otome trope you will never get tired of?

Enemies-to-lovers, definitely! I never get tired of that initial tension and watching their relationship slowly change. And I also have a soft spot for childhood friends! I know a lot of people are tired of this trope, but I still really enjoy it. 🥹
  4. Do you prefer younger Lls, older LIs, or characters around the MC's age?

I don't really pay much attention to their age, to be honest. 😅 I'm much more interested in their personality and the dynamic they have with the MC. But if I had to choose, I think I generally prefer LIs who are around the MC's age or older!
  5. Do you prioritize playing newly released otome/bl games?

I usually prioritize new releases! If there's a game I'm really looking forward to, I get too excited to leave it sitting in my backlog 😂
  6. You guys prefer novel or manga?

    Definitely manga!
  7. Do you prefer a game's villain to be punished or redeemed?

It really depends on the villain and what they've done. 😂 I'm fine with either punishment or redemption as long as it makes sense for the character. I don't like rushed redemptions where everything gets forgiven without really addressing what they did.
  8. Do you read reviews? What's important to you in a review?

I do read reviews, but I try to avoid ones with too many spoilers. 😂 I mostly want to know what people thought of the characters, story and overall experience rather than a detailed summary of the plot. I also really appreciate when people mention things like the route order or whether there...
  9. The most attractive sport for otome games

Someone already mentioned swimming, but I'd love a swimming otome too! I think the competitive side could be really interesting... and I'm definitely not complaining about the swimmers physiques either. 😂
  10. Do you find long-running titles intimidating or harder to get into?

Definitely! Long-running series are pretty intimidating to me, especially when they have multiple games. I have less free time nowadays too, so committing to an entire series can feel a bit overwhelming. 🥲
  11. games that aren't exactly "otome" but that you still really like?

Games like Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley are definitely my thing! 😂 I'm playing Fields of Mistria at the moment and I'm so hooked. I love the farming/life sim side of these games, but especially the relationships with the characters. I recently played Persona 5 and Mass Effect too, and really...
  12. What is your opinion on other peoples attitudes to otome games and joseimuke?

I definitely agree. I think female-oriented media gets dismissed way too easily, as if being made primarily for women automatically means it can't have depth. Of course there are plenty of shallow otome/joseimuke games, but you can say the same about pretty much any genre. I don't think people...
  13. What got you interested in otome games?

I think I got into otome through anime! I started getting really into anime, which eventually led me to discover otome games. If I remember correctly, my first one was Starry Sky in Spring, and I just kept playing them from there. 😂💕
  14. Do you 100% complete your otome/bl VNs?

With otome, not always! 😂 If I'm really enjoying a game, I'll try to 100% it, but if I'm not that invested, I might leave some routes unfinished. With BL, though, I usually try to complete everything unless I really dislike the game and end up dropping it. 😅
  15. t seems like BL games are gradually disappearing

I definitely get that feeling too, and honestly, it makes me a little sad because I love BL games. 🥲 I'm not really into mobile or gacha BL games, so I do miss having more traditional BL VNs being released. I wish we had more of them nowadays!
  16. What’s your favourite type of LI?

Innocent! 🥹 I love seeing them get all flustered and blush around the MC, it's just too cute. 😂 Tsundere would probably be my second choice, but I need a good balance between the tsun and the dere. If they're too tsun and barely show their softer side, I get bored pretty quickly.
  17. What would you think of otome games without the option to change the MC's name?

I always keep the MC's original name anyway, so I wouldn't mind! 😊 If anything, I kind of prefer it that way. I like when the MC feels like her own character rather than a blank slate, especially when she has a strong personality and her own story.
  18. Will you play otome games forever?

I've always thought I'd play otome forever, and I still think I will! 🥹 But over the years, I've had less and less free time, and I also find it harder sometimes to find games that really appeal to me. So I may play fewer games nowadays, but I don't think I'll ever stop completely. 😂
  19. Otome Recommendation megathread

I'm looking for otome games with a heroine who is tsundere or initially cold, aloof, towards the LIs. I really enjoy that kind of dynamic, especially when it leads to funny, awkward, or interesting interactions between them! 🥹 I'm also a big fan of enemies to lovers, so I'd definitely love...
  20. What's the perfect amount of love interests?

I don't really have a specific number, but I definitely prefer having fewer LIs with well-developed stories over having a lot of LIs with short or weaker routes. 😊 For me, it's more important that each LI has enough time for their story and relationship with the heroine to properly develop.
