    It depends on how serious their crimes are. I can't sympathize with a villain who puts others in danger for some completely nonsensical reason.

    I quite like it when it's just a temporary event rather than something permanent. It's even better if it doesn't really suit the character and they're embarrassed about it.

    Yes, I usually self-insert when I play. When I'm enjoying the romance with a character, I find it hard to get as invested if I'm viewing it from a third-person perspective.

    I hardly ever play BL games, so naturally I end up playing otome games instead.

    I'm also a fan of Gin Rokujou. I love the timid, nervous characters he plays who still become surprisingly assertive with the heroine.

    If I really like a series, I sometimes binge-read nearly 100 chapters straight through to the latest one.

    I often listen to them while lying in bed to help me fall asleep. Sometimes I also have them playing in the background while I'm gaming.
