What got you into Otome drama CDs?

At first, I watched Motion Comic, then I listened to Otome drama CD.

I first became interested in voice actors who worked on titles I liked. While looking for more of their content, such as character songs and OSTs, I came across drama CDs. I remember being pleasantly surprised to find some works where they also sang. Eventually, I got hooked on being able to enjoy the world of the story and the voice actors' performances for a long time through drama CDs.

I think the first time I came across it was while looking up a list of works featuring a voice actor I liked after watching an anime.
I really started getting interested after I found a thread discussing Otome drama CDs on a forum I was using at the time.

Years ago I started by reading comics and watching anime (like Ouran High School, La Corda, Haruka, etc), and then I came across to their drama CDs. I joined a forum where many fans shared these resources and engaged in discussions about their favorite voice actors.
Then I started listen to their counting sheep series Cds...in bed ...well they were all so good they never help you sleep tho 😆😆😆

A long, long time ago, I discovered otome drama CDs through a random comment I saw while reading a manga. Someone mentioned them, and I got curious. Later, I found out that some manga also had drama CD adaptations, which made me even more interested.

it all started back when i was obsessed with mobile otome games. i was downloading everything i could find on the play store...

and one of them happened to be Love & Poke (らぶらぶつんつん), an app that combined voice audio with screen interaction (though it's gone now). the app was made by bizCROWN and that's where i discovered the Reversible series and completely fell in love with Sawa Manaka's voice ><

once i realized Reversible was actually an otome drama CD series, i started looking for other otome drama cds and discovering more voice actors. i fell into the rabbit hole and i've been into otome drama CDs ever since! ^^

unironically it was tiktok... i think, i remember that i'm scrolling through tiktok and found a video where the audio is basically from an otome cd. i got curious and opened the comment section, turns out it is an otome cd! and i start to search on soundcloud, youtube, and the rest is just history ^_^

I think the first time was I happened to stumble upon something uploaded on Soundcloud and learned the existence of drama cds and that a lot of my favorite seiyuu do work under a pseudonym. I remember looking up a list of seiyuu pseudonyms, and land then cd titles under their name.

In my desperate attempt looking for an animated version of Haou Airen, I stumble upon the drama cd and the rest was history. After Haou Airen's drama cd I found Red River's drama cd and slowly found my way into the community of Drama CDs. From Dauriculaire monthly release udpates to Airavalky, I've been with drama cd since the beginning of R18 otome releases. I find it sad that a lot of labels from back then are now no longer alive, especially when they released some really good works.

I don't really remember much but somehow I ended up using soundcloud to listen to otome cd. 18+ series that I can remember was Rouge et Noir and since then I have listened to more and more. I was addicted at certain times. I would even listen to it even when I'm sleeping with my aunt. She probably heard the audio as it might be leaking but well, I just pretend that nothing happened.. Shockingly, it was before covid and then become a norm during and after that.

Got one recommended through YouTube and I spiraled from there... I don't remember how it continued from there on xD

While looking up some of my favorite voice actors, the algorithm led me to discover something called drama CDs. I didn't realize it back then, and I also had no idea that drama CDs were this popular.

It's kind of a blur tbh but I think I stumbled upon a drama cd track on soundcloud around its golden time, then I was hooked lol. I was using SC for anisongs but ended up making another account specifically for drama cds:LOL: Good times...

During COVID I felt very lonely. I couldn't meet friends. I found an otome drama CD translation on YouTube and it made me feel less alone. Since then it became my comfort! 🥺💖

i really love listening to asmr. at first, i just listened to the usual stuff that helps me fall asleep. then while searching around, i came across asmr boyfriend videos in english and i was like, "wow, i didn't even know this existed" 😆 so i tried looking for japanese ones because english doesn't really do it for me that much lol, and then i found the japanese ones… now i listen to them all the time. they're sooo good and i love them so much ><

At first, I was listening to ASMR on YouTube and then I discovered drama CDs, and I think that's how I got hooked. Before I knew about CDs, I liked whispering sounds while sleeping, so I listened to a lot of them, but these days I listen to CDs a lot

For me it started with a game — after finishing a route I loved, I found drama CDs with the same character and couldn't resist. Hearing the LI's voice again felt like a bonus story, and I've been hooked since!

Oh wow I dont remember exactly but I guess I stumbled around VN videos on Youtube and I was listening to drama CDs so I guess this is how I got into it as natural progression

Wasn't really sure how it started, but I remember listening to Diabolik lovers and very fascinated by it lmao I think binaural recording was pretty new at that time, or it's just that I'm more familiar with other drama CDs 🤔 After that it's history, I jumped down the rabbit hole lmao

got form youtube, and move to soundcloud (iykyk) and finally theres's comment in the chat and move me to the website abt the otome voice, and its soo change my life, i'm soo in love with the voice, especially in my favorite genre

I randomly found them on sound cloud then met a friend who had been making posting jp bl AMSR on yt and joined their discord server started chatting with others and discovered more and more otome CDs, manga, games the whole lot ( ☆∀☆)
