What do you think about mobile otome games?Eg:Love And Deepspace, Mystic messenger etc.

I used to play mobile otomes, but I really don't like the predatory "progression locked based on microtransaction or heavy grinding" models. I also tried out LADS since I was told one of the guys would match my tastes, but they didn't live up to my expectations, so when I had to change phones, I dropped it. The graphics, character customizability, and combat were nice, but it just didn't feel... "otome-like" enough for me, on top of not really clicking with any of the guys.

Mobile ports of otomes where you just pay a flat fee for the whole game or to play certain routes are great though!

Mysme was the only one I had the patience to play for given mechanics...and it ruined my sleep schedule lol waking up at 4AM. 707 and Saeran are my favs ofc. And yes I did drop the money to buy the DLC after ends for both V and Saeran.

Mystic Messenger was ok, however I missed a lot because of the time constraint game mechanics. It was nice that the game was complete. huge plus points for that. LADS is better in this regard but it's also not a complete game and has no real routes so it's not your typical otome game. My Candy Love is also for mobile and I hated that you have to collect points to progress the episodes or buy points since it takes long to collect... Mobile Otomes or online otomes need to sustain their operation cost, so it's kind of a given that at some point they make you pay. But I rather buy a complete game, than being at the mercy of the developers... (I still play LADS though xD). However if there is a good mobile otome I try them out :D
