If you ended up in an otome game, which role do you think you'd be?

Best friend definitely, so I can smack some sense into the mc everytime she tries something stupid that put her life in danger.😂😂

I'd love to be the heroine in a game that's funny, sweet, and fluffy, like Glass Heart Princess or something along those lines.

But if it's a game where I'm going to suffer, I think I'd rather be the heroine's best friend instead. I could just sit on the sidelines, give her advice, and watch everything unfold. 😂

And if I were the villainess? I might just end up enjoying the rich-girl life, completely abandoning the mundane world, and refusing to follow the plot at all.

No getting involved in the main storyline. No drama. Just enjoying my wealth and living peacefully. 😂

I definitely would not last long as a heroine 😭

I think in a fantasy setting I would love to be a smart side character - like a scientist or a doctor or a royal advisor, whatever goes - that can info dump on the main characters. I would not be opposed to being a mascot character too, honestly LOL

If it's slice of life then I would love to have a similar role to the little brothers/MC's friends in the TMGS games, someone who can supply the LI's information to the heroine 😌

The heroine, the villainess, the best friend, an NPC, or the final boss?
And why?

Also does the role changes depending on the game theme? For example, fantasy, mystery, school life etc.

In my case, i think i would be a NPC :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
As villainess or final boss i am not bad enough HAHAHAHA
And as heroine, i cannot imagine that lol (maybe if i ended up in a school life otome)

No matter what game I will be that one background character who the heroine sees only once and has to help or will get a bad ending.

Regardless of the genre, I'll probably an irrelevant side NPC that has like five lines that don't even add to anything and just witness the happenings of the plot lol

If I could choose, I would be the MC but like in a chill slice-of-life otome like Tokimeki Memorial or something. Like all I do is go to school, go shopping, part-time job, study and romance my favourite guy.
I'm not physically or mentally strong enough to be in a lot of these otome games like Amnesia or Collar x Malice etc lmao.

Realistically I'd probably be an NPC haha

Honestly, I'd probably be an NPC too. 😂 I'd most likely be that random side character who shows up occasionally, gives some advice, and then disappears from the story.
I do think the role would change depending on the setting, though. In a school-life otome I could maybe see myself as a classmate or even the heroine, but in a fantasy or mystery game I'd 100% end up as an NPC.

If I could, I'd want to be the protagonist! ...Or so I'd like to say, but I probably wouldn't make the cut—so at the very least, I'd want to be the protagonist's friend.

Honestly, i think i would be a journalist or nerd scientist that will ocassionaly help mc. Being mc sister that suddenly went missing or get killed to make the plot move doesnt sound bad either

I want to be her best friend, but sometimes when I go down the bad ending route, I end up dying with the heroine..I'll pass🤣🤣
More than that, I want to be the owner of the café or space the main characters often visit!!😆

Haha I would 100% be the Heroine's Best Friend! 👯‍♀️✨

I can totally picture myself sitting right next to the heroine, eating snacks, and listening to all her relationship drama while giving her commentary. I get to enjoy all the romantic chaos from the front row without any of the stress!

And yeah, I think the theme definitely changes things! In a school life setting, I'm definitely the gossiping best friend, but if it were a high-fantasy or mystery game? I'd probably downgrade to a random village NPC just trying to survive the main plot!

Lowkey wanna try being the villainess just for the experience 🤣 But knowing myself, I'd probably get caught in my own schemes within the first week LMAOO. I'd be trying to act all elegant and intimidating, then immediately panic when the plot starts going off script 😭💀

That 1 fiancé of some ml who deceased or just "assumingly engaged" for political reason. It's all about the seasoning ya know, gotta add a lil bit of extra thing to the ml's upbringing profile. What a plot

If it were up to me, I'd choose to be a supporting character—like the female lead's best friend, or someone who assists the main characters. 😁 I'd much rather support the protagonists' romance than be the female lead myself! 😅

I want to be mascot character and enjoy the spoiled and help female lead. I never want to be female lead since its tough life, i want to be mascot character loved by people. Its so peaceful and nothing to do just acting cute. I feel like it suit my personality of being relaxing and chilling.
