Definitely the childhood friend lol

If the childhood friend is also a yandere or a kuudere, they are definitely on my radar first lol I love when they're conflicted or struggling, especially about how they feel about the mc. Watching them choose whether to stay as childhood friend or graduate from it is always keeps me completely hooked lol

kuudere, dandere you named it (like making the ice melt) and sometimes haraguro (color me surprise that their antics is making me "surprise bitch i am not gentle at all like you think") lol. osananajimi is a fun trope too, it was not new trope but their relationship each other imo fleshed out and not rushed because it has been build ever since MC and LI is still a child is what makes me loving this trope.

they might be the most clichés of the clichés, but i'm honestly a huge sucker for defrosting characters that just get adorably warm and affectionate. it doesn't matter if they start as tsunderes or whatever else, i like them getting ATTACHED, blushy, and everything in the package.

I love the cliché of childhood friends becoming lovers. Since they've been together since they were young, it's so natural that they didn't realize they liked each other, but I absolutely love that moment when they suddenly become aware of their true feelings due to a certain event.

character who is painted as scary and powerful but actually is a softie with MC is just *chefs kiss*
