Give me more tired and stressed men due to being overtly responsibleee, bonus points if they are the straight men of the group when everyone else is chaotic and goofy. A bit too specific, but I adore this character trope.

Love interests who are the arrogant, high-born "young master" type who eventually goes into full remorse mode (Kazama Chikage-style) are so rare in Japanese otome games. I really love this type. Another type I like is the sexy playboy, but I mean genuinely sexy, not the hollow kind of "sexy" that's just for show. That type is pretty rare too. (Ymir from Yumekuro)

I'd like to see more "older men" LIs (obviously with like a college-aged FL or older even) because the maturity and the voices that normally come with them are just the best! (Hijikata from Hakuoki/Yuzuki from 7'sCarlet, Hanzo Hattori from Nightshade, etc.)

For some reason they're kinda hard to come by?? From the above images, literally only Hakuoki has been localised.

I desperately need more tired, melancholic older men with that messy, slightly disheveled look! Give me unbuttoned dress shirts with rolled-up sleeves, dark eye bags, messy hair tied in a loose low ponytail, and a subtle cigarette aesthetic. Otome games have plenty of sparkling young princes and high school bad boys, but that weary, adult melancholy just hits on a completely different level of charm.
